Roof Garden Bar needed more than a new look. Through custom website design and branding, we rebuilt the identity of this Gqeberha rooftop event venue and created a digital setup that better supports how the business markets, books and sells its experiences.
We designed and developed the website around the different ways people experience and book the venue, connecting the marketing, booking and ticketing systems that support it.
Visual Brand Identity
Roof Garden Bar had outgrown its existing identity, so we rebuilt the brand from the ground up with a completely new visual direction designed to better reflect the experience of the venue.
We created a new logo system with flexible variations, custom icons and a richer, more flexible colour palette, then loaded everything into Canva so their team had a complete brand system they could confidently use across events, promotions and day-to-day marketing.
Custom Website Design, Strategy + Development
The website needed to do more than show people what Roof Garden Bar looks like. It needed to make the different ways people can experience and book the venue easy to understand, while guiding them towards the right next step.
Before we designed anything, we mapped out how people would move through those different experiences so the website could support the business properly. From there, we designed the full site, wrote every line of conversion-focused copy, and custom built each page around the way Roof Garden Bar actually sells and books its different offerings.
Custom Sales Pages + Booking Forms
A wedding enquiry is not the same as a corporate function enquiry, so we did not send everyone through the same generic venue page.
Each core offering was given its own sales page, with copy and page structure designed around the questions, possibilities and buying decisions specific to that type of event.
We then built custom enquiry forms for each service, helping Roof Garden Bar collect more relevant information upfront and making the process easier for both the customer and the team handling the enquiry.
Owned Event Ticketing
Roof Garden Bar hosts its own public events, so sending customers to an outside ticketing platform never made much sense.
We built event ticketing directly into their website, allowing the team to promote events, sell tickets and take payment through their own digital setup instead of handing part of every ticket sale to a third-party platform.
The customer stays inside the Roof Garden Bar experience, and the business keeps more control over the transaction.
Website Launch Giveaway + Email Automation
To launch the new website, we created a giveaway campaign designed to do more than generate a quick spike of attention. We wanted the campaign to leave Roof Garden Bar with an audience they could continue speaking to afterwards.
We wrote, designed and built the giveaway landing page, success pop-up and thank-you page, then connected everything to Mailchimp with a welcome email and automation so new sign-ups moved straight into their email audience.
We also created the supporting social post and story creative to drive people into the campaign.
Social Media Templates
To help the Roof Garden Bar team keep the new brand consistent across their ongoing marketing, we created a suite of branded social media templates for both posts and stories.
Everything was designed in Canva and loaded into an easy-to-use system, giving the team polished, on-brand assets they could update themselves whenever they needed to promote an event, offer or announcement.
Built For Their Team To Use
We did not want Roof Garden Bar to need us every time something on the website needed to change.
We recorded custom training videos using their actual website, showing their team exactly how to manage the parts they would need day to day. The videos also became part of their own training library, so they can rewatch them whenever needed or use them to train someone new on the team in future.
That keeps the website usable long after handover and gives the business more control over something they own.
